Cheryl Cole is the Editor of DiversityQ and has worked for HSBC, GSK, The Birmingham Post, Investment Week and Bloomberg.
Cheryl is an award-winning and innovative journalist, an editor with over 20 years’ experience in implementing effective communication and publishing strategies.
Most recently, Cheryl was a Communications Business Partner for the Global Banking and Markets, and Commercial Banking divisions at HSBC.
She was the editor of GSK’s UK Pharma print and online magazine for over 13 years, as well as other publications and internal communications for the business.
Cheryl joined Trinity Mirror in 2001 as a business reporter before becoming City Editor of the Birmingham Post. Prior to that she worked at Incisive Media on Investment Week and Bloomberg Money magazines.
Cheryl started her journalistic career in Bloomberg. She is also a qualified dispensing optician.

Lauren Jauncey is an experienced and highly credentialed people and culture consultant. She has an unwavering passion for diversity and inclusion and a proven track record of improving organisational performance through leadership, talent and culture change programs. Her philosophy is simple – when people feel valued and included they are happier and healthier and will perform better at work.
In January 2020, Lauren and her family moved to Singapore so that she could take on the first dedicated ID&E role for AWS in the APJ region. In this role she is responsible for the development and implementation of the WWCO APJ ID&E strategy.
Prior to joining AWS, Lauren was the Founder and Director of Frankly Diversity, where she worked with clients to improve business performance through establishing more diverse, inclusive and innovative cultures.
Prior to launching Frankly Diversity, Lauren was the National Manager of Diversity and Inclusion at Australia Post, and was a key contributor to the culture transformation of the iconic business. She and her team achieved significant results, positioning the organisation as a national leader in diversity and inclusion.
Lauren and her husband Lucas, are the proud parents of three young daughters, Milla, Frankie and Lily.
Li Choo Kwek-Perroy

Li Choo Kwek-Perroy is a highly seasoned insurance practitioner with more than 20 years of progressive leadership roles in various core disciplines. Trained initially as an actuary, she has assumed a mix of roles across Asia, the US and Europe with AXA, Deloitte and Manulife.
Her notable tech projects include launching a health business with claims servicing fully integrated with public hospitals in Singapore, launching Singapore’s first SaaS platform to enable large scale automated marketing and prospecting, governance and customer engagement and accelerating data enablement in the business with an enterprise data lake.

Neha is featured in FinTech 50, 2019 and is Asia’s 50 Most Influential Women in Renewable Energy, 2020. Neha is legal and finance professional with 11 years of experience in Asia and Europe. She holds a double-degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Delhi and attended King’s College, London on Chevening Fellowship.
Neha is the Team Lead for the £1.2 billion Prosperity Fund (PF) for the SEA (SEA). The fund is administered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the UK government. The Prosperity fund aims to support the inclusive economic growth needed to reduce poverty in SEA. The Fund’s activities contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Neha’s main work includes working with financial regulators in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia.
Neha is founder of FemTech Partners, which enables Fintech start-ups to access and expand their market-reach and supports programs and initiatives for women in Fintech, on a pro-bono basis. Neha is a recipient of the Nav Shakti Award for her contribution to women empowerment conferred by the Indo European Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (IECSME).
Neha has worked with the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), the world’s leading development charity organisation, focused on Financial Inclusion using Fintech solutions such as mobile money, e-KYC etc. She carried out extensive field visits to meet women and youth in remote areas of Bangladesh to understand the current landscape and depth of capital problem and to provide them faster and cheaper access to finance.
Neha has attended Austrian Leadership Program and is a Chevening Financial Services Fellow, a program sponsored by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). She studied financial risk management, regulatory and industry sandboxes, and UK Fintech regulation. During the Fellowship, she made close connects with the Fintech Heads of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), City of London, Innovate Finance, Department for International Trade (DIT) and HM Treasury. Neha is a Global People’s Fellow, an initiative by the United Nations to promote Sustainable Development Goals(SDG’s)- in recognition for her work in deploying Blockchain technology for payment, remittance and micro-loan/insurance and helping migrant workers in the ASEAN and African region.
Over the years, Neha’s work has centered on liaising with the financial regulators across ASEAN region. As the Vice-President of Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (IVCA), she actively working with regulators such as Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Ministry of Finance (MOF), and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). As the Country Head for Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), Singapore she worked closely with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on the Registered Fund Management Companies (RFMC) regime. Neha facilitated the market entry for Eurex Frankfurt AG, Deutsche Boerse Group in the Indian market.
Neha graduated in Business Management and also holds a Masters in Business Journalism. Neha is an Al Gore Certified Climate Change Trainer and is passionate about environment protection, issues relating to health and education of children belonging to poor families. Her day starts with yoga and meditation.
Neha is a regular contributor to fintech discussions, especially to bridge the gender gap in fintech and the financial services industry.
Sher-li Torrey is the founder & director of Mums@Work (Singapore), which was started in 2010. Trained in various personality profiling tools, she has more than 20 years of corporate experience. Formerly heading the postgraduate team at the Office of Career Services at the Singapore Management University (SMU), she has held various roles in different industries.
In 2010, following the birth of her daughter, Sher-li started Mums@Work (Singapore) – a social enterprise that supports women. A point of information source for flexi-time work or Mumpreneur business-owners, Mums@Work has more than 41,000 members (end of 2019). In 2016, she started a subsidiary of M@W, Career Navigators – with a focus on bringing women back into the workforce in full-time roles. Through this subsidiary, partnerships with more than 150 MNCs have been established. Under Mums@Work, Sher-li has coached more than 300 Mumpreneur business owners on how to start a small home-based business.
As founder of Singapore’s first flexible work career portal, Sher-li has spoken to various organisations and local media on Diversity & Inclusion topics, as well as HR-related issues. She is a frequent speaker and article contributor to press and TV on diversity hiring topics. A mother of 2 school-going children, Sher-li strongly advocates a work environment that thrives in allowing employees to have better work-family integration.
