Q1. Why have you joined the Women in IT Canada Summit?

The Women in IT Canada Summit is a platform for collaboration and conversation.  It promotes civility and understanding.  As an individual and a leader it is important to continuously grow these competency areas.  Listening and sharing are the cornerstones of collaborative learning and growth.  The WIT Canada Summit provides the platform for this, and offers me an opportunity to collaborate and participate directly with others, share, listen and learn.

Q2. Why are you compelled to participate in the Keynote Panel, From Digital Leadership to Hybrid Leadership – are you ready?

I am compelled to participate because this is an opportunistic time for Leaders to think differently about performance.  Digital and Hybrid Leadership is about enhancing and building skills, managing outcomes, new forms of communication and connection, being inclusive and equitable.

Q3. What sessions are you most looking forward to and why?

The entire agenda and speaker lineup is fantastic, and all sessions will provide valuable knowledge and insight.  I am looking forward to “Driving digital first and customer centric agendas”, “Hiring your future talent now”, “How do you fill the purpose gap”, and “How do you future proof your security”.  These sessions cover many of the current topics that are on a CIO’s mind today, so looking forward to listening and learning.

Q4. Why should local and international professionals tune in for your session?

This topic scales across all industries, global and local.  The discussion will revolve around the opportunities and approaches.  The broader the audience, their input and ideas, the more interesting the discussion.
