Technology’s largest career fair for women is coming to Leeds!

Earlier this year, 250 of the UK’s brightest female students and graduates descended on London’s Grange Tower Bridge Hotel for technology’s largest careers fair for women, Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders Today. The event was such a success that it is now travelling to the North of England – taking place in Leeds on 1 February 2017.

Organised by the UK’s leading business-technology magazine Information Age, Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders Today has grown in reputation as an unprecedented and exclusive opportunity for women to connect with the country’s top IT employers.

Exhibiting at the event are not only some of the world’s biggest technology companies, but also organisations from other sectors eager to create a more gender-balanced workforce. Companies at the fair are looking to fill both technology and business roles.

Organisations at the last careers fair included:

– Royal Bank of Scotland
– Halfords
– Worldpay
– Oracle
– Zayo
– Informed Solutions

– Accenture
– FDM Group
– Ericsson
– Salesforce
– Anaplan
– KPMG
– CWjobs
– Sky Bet
– The Financial Times
– Tesco
– Visa
– EY

Those already in the technology industry strongly testify to it being a hugely rewarding, interesting and vibrant career to embark upon – full of opportunities and progression. But this is failing to translate to women, who account for just 16% of IT jobs in the UK.

As well as having the opportunity to network with the employers and learn of exclusive job opportunities, attendees of the Leeds careers fair will also have the opportunity to attend workshops and discussions led by some of technology’s most prominent personalities.

This is an unparalleled opportunity for women to accelerate their tech careers and learn from the leaders of today.
