Alena Hielema graduated with honors from Sociology and Human Resources Management. Experienced and certified personal leadership coach, personal development trainer, mentor and speaker. Specializes in the following topics: personal leadership, women empowerment, personal development – building self-confidence, motivation, assertive communication, changing limiting beliefs and habits, and success mindset. Founder of coaching and training company in the Netherlands – Empowered For Future. A member of the International Coaching Federation, prestigious and the world’s largest community of professional coaches. Passionate about the ‘Playing BIG’ concept, stating for aiming high while using your full potential, with integrity, and according to your values.
Through over 17 years of experience in various industries in Poland and the Netherlands, she has developed expertise in the field of coaching, soft skills training, recruitment, and leadership. Alena left her corporate job to follow her passion for supporting women in determining the direction of leadership and life. She helped hundreds of women change their career, life and business, build personal effectiveness and leadership skills. She spoke, led trainings and gave presentations for such companies as: Czech Dutch Chamber of Commerce, Merck, NetApp, Salesforce (for the Women in Tech Group, Women in Leadership) and speaks publicly in Europe at conferences such as: Women in Tech, European Women in Tech, Global Woman Club, EBW 2020 on women empowerment, including building supportive habits, motivation, mentoring, and personal leadership.

She is an active mentor in the Polaris Network, an organization for professionals connecting women who strive for continuous professional and personal development and aim for Diversity & Inclusion. She is a finalist of the Freelancer of the Year in 2019 in NL. She has been living for 14 years in the Netherlands and running her own business for nearly four years. Privately, a happy mother and wife. She is passionate about Latin dance, figure skating, hiking, good reading, and enjoys spending valuable time with friends.

Marguerite de Tavernost is an investor at e.ventures, a global VC fund with more than $1bn under management. e.ventures‘ portfolio companies include Sonos, Farfetch, TheRealReal, Bird, Groupon, and Segment. Marguerite leads e.ventures‘ efforts in France, focusing on early stage companies and with a particular interest in consumer deals.

Before moving to VC, Marguerite worked at Founders Intelligence where she advised some of the most renown CEOs and CDOs on their digital transformation strategies (e.g. Lubomila Rochet at L’Oreal, Tim Mayopoulos at Fannie Mae). She also gained operational experience launching and managing Side‘s operations in the UK. Side is the leading flexible freelancer marketplace in France and raised from Xavier Niel’s personal fund.

Marguerite graduated with a BA in European Studies from King’s College London and a MSc in International Management from The London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

As a Senior Manager in Analytics and Digital Integration, Nahia Orduna leads a team which empowers data strategy across Vodafone Business Commercial & Operations by accelerating quality decision-making based on facts and insights. She is a Telecommunication Engineer holding MBA.
Nahia is a firm believer that technology improves the world and that the impact of digitalisation in our lives is extremely positive. She has been working in the last 15+ years in companies which are connecting the world and driving this change, such as Cisco Systems or Vodafone. She started her career in Spain, where she is originally from, she moved to the Netherlands and now she is based in Germany.

She believes that we will all live in a better society if we all use our talents and skills. That is why she likes to mentor and coach people into getting more data and digital skills. She is also leading as EMEA Program Manager Women in Big Data, an industry-driven global organisation which wants to encourage diversity in the Big Data field. She participates in conferences and events worldwide where she talks around cognitive diversity, AI, digital transformation and the power of data. You can read her thoughts on the need of a diverse workforce in AI-driven companies in this article for the World Economic Forum agenda.

She will be talking around the social impacts of new technologies, highlighting the new opportunities in the tech revolution.

Theresa Tran is a Data Scientist at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. She enjoys transforming meaningless data into meaningful insights that make work processes more efficient – and our lives easier. While interning at T-Systems, she experienced first-hand that the best machine learning model is pointless if the user does not trust it. Theresa believes that trust arises from understanding. She therefore used her master’s thesis to investigate different approaches to make machine learning models more interpretable. For her work she was awarded with the Women’s STEM Award 2019 and the Datenlotsen Award 2019.

Alexandra Hils is Head of Innovation Germany at Cisco. She is responsible for the strategic direction of openBerlin’s innovation activities. She has worked in the IT industry for 17 years, including Intel and Oracle. Alex studied Business Administration at the Technical University of Berlin.
Hanna Kopcke

Hanna Kopcke

CO-Founder and CTO, Webdata Solutions

Dr. Hanna Köpcke is co-founder and CTO of Webdata Solutions. She is a renowned expert in the field of product data matching based on learning algorithms. For this reason, Hanna has been appointed, together with other innovative leaders from research labs and companies, as a member of the steering circle of the German Government – „Platform Learning Systems“. The goal of the circle is to establish future technologies and to strengthen the German economy by supporting and accelerating the process of digitization. Furthermore, Dr. Köpcke is networking with other data mining and big data researchers worldwide. She is well connected with our research partners DFKI and the Competence Center for Scalable Data Services and Solutions at Leipzig University. Additionally, she is a member of the German Computer Science Society.
Since her early childhood, Hanna was passionate about IT. After studying Computer Science at the TU Dortmund University, she deepened her expertise as a research assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Group. Later she headed the working group “Object Matching” at the WDI-Lab of the University of Leipzig. This is where the idea for blackbee was born.
