1. You’re an executive coach extraordinaire! How did you get into this work?

Well thank you so much! I was seeking out the right career for me with one phrase in my mind: “to make a difference.” I met an executive coach at a conference, I saw what she was doing, and it was like violins played in my mind! I saw that she was using her talents and personality to make a difference. I was sold immediately.

2. Without giving your masterclass away…how significantly has your work in coaching & networking changed in 2020?

Well quite a bit!  We can’t see each other in person so we’ve had to find new ways to connect, to network, to collaborate with our teams. Everyone is dealing with anxiety, uncertainty, confusion so I’ve been working with my clients on finding pathways through those and living with uncertainty. The key is to recognize that there are things you can’t do but in turn there are things you *can* do and emphasize those.

3. And finally, why should our readers come along to the Women in IT Virtual Summit next week?

I am a coach, so my religion is building your relationships and developing your skills. The Women in IT Virtual Summit is an exciting way to do both. Come and set a goal to learn something significant and meet two or more people who can be lifelong networking compadres!
